Service Advisory Notification

Canadian Armed Forces are presently in BC to help with recovery, conduct damage assessments and help repair the Sumas Dike. Some parts of the highways have re-opened but have minimal access and are slow-moving. Crews continue to work around the clock to assess the damages to build a timeframe when roads and highways can be fully re-open.

Rail service will resume late Tuesday, Nov 23rd; however, the backlog is expected to take some time to clear, so please plan for delays.

Road service is still a challenge. However, most drivers trapped in the closures have been able to pass through. Highway 3 re-opened over the weekend but has since closed at the time of this update – see the link below.

Crews have been able to open sections of highways 1, 7 and 99, but these too are slow travelling and highly subject to closures at any time.

As of Tuesday, Nov 23rd, we will resume scheduling pick-ups to/from the Vancouver area; however, delays should be anticipated.
