Logistics and transportation specialists know that the shipping process is all about the details. Providing customers with required shipping documentation and timely status of freight, has always been a challenging and time consuming process.
GX Transport has recently added “document imaging” to their line-up of expanding online services in an effort to streamline the exchange of shipping information with customers. The new upgrade allows customers to log in to the web site to view their bills of lading and POD (proof of delivery) receipts at their leisure.
“At GX, we’re always looking for ways to bring added convenience to our customers.” says Michelle Arseneau, Managing Partner at GX Transport. “The new digital imaging feature automates the document sharing process saving our customers time and money.”
Digital imaging has also been integrated into the billing system so that all shipping invoices include a copy of the bill of lading and POD when transmitted.
GX customers already use the self-serve quick trace and detailed tracking features on the web site to see up to the minute details of their shipment and enter pick ups. Now they can also view their signed proof of delivery receipts and shipment bills of lading at their convenience. Contact us today to get started with your username and password!
The TM4Web technology provides customers with instant access to freight and transportation shipping details for all modes of transport regardless of whether the shipment is local within Canada, across the United States or if the customer is shipping freight to Europe, Asia or any International destination.
GX Transport offers strategic supply chain solutions for road transportation, inter-modal service, dedicated fleet services, air and ocean services, and warehousing and distribution.
